Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly greeted and transferred to KIA Lodge, a charming property ideally located just minutes from the airport. Nestled amid acacia trees and offering sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro (on clear days), the lodge provides a peaceful and convenient setting to rest after your international flight. Settle in and enjoy a relaxed evening at leisure. Dinner is included at the lodge.

This morning, set out on a full-day exploration of Arusha National Park, a small but diverse gem filled with montane forests, crater lakes, and open plains. Keep watch for colobus monkeys, giraffes, buffalo, flamingos, and more as you explore the park’s varied landscapes. Later, transfer to Moivaro Coffee Plantation Lodge, set in tranquil gardens just outside of Arusha town.

After breakfast, journey to Tarangire National Park, famed for its ancient baobab trees and impressive herds of elephants. The park's varied terrain is home to an abundance of wildlife including lions, zebras, wildebeest, and over 500 bird species. Spend the day on game drives through this ruggedly beautiful landscape, soaking in the raw and untamed atmosphere. In the late afternoon, travel to Migunga Tented Camp, located in a quiet forest near Mto wa Mbu.

Travel to Lake Manyara National Park, beautifully set beneath the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment. Explore its forests and lakeshore on game drives in search of elephants, flamingos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, continue into the Ngorongoro Highlands and settle in at Crater Forest Tented Camp for the evening.

Rise early for an unforgettable descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to over 25,000 large animals in a stunning natural amphitheater. Enjoy a game drive with excellent chances of spotting lion, black rhino, hippo, and vast herds of zebra and wildebeest. After a picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha for your onward journey. This is the end of the tour.
