Salvador and Chapada Diamantina Eco Adventure - 7 nights
Day 1: Salvador
Arrival to Salvador de Bahia Airport and private transfer to your accommodation. Free to explore amazing Pelourinho, the old colonial town of Bahia.
Day 2: Salvador
Free day to explore the city, with its vibrant colors, winding cobblestone streets, and tropical sounds. Let yourself get lost in the magic of Pelourinho.
Day 3: Salvador
Pick up for a Full Day in Praia do Forte, with a stop at Guarajuba Beach.
This is a trip to discover one of the most charming towns near Salvador (50 kilometers away). You’ll enjoy clear, calm waters, stroll through the village, visit the Tamar Project (sea turtles), and return at the end of the day.
Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel in Salvador are included.

Day 4: Lençóis
Check out, go on your own to the bus station (Rodoviaria) to take the bus to Lencois, at the heart of Chapada Diamantina. Arrival and go to your accommodation by yourself. Check in and relax in this precious little town. Spend the day strolling through this colonial town, known for its cobbled streets, colorful houses, and relaxed vibe. Enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants.
Optional: Short hike to Ribeirão do Meio in the afternoon - a natural waterslide and swimming spot just 50 minutes from town (can be done independently).

In the morning, be ready for a full day tour to the surroundings of Lencois.

A must-do full-day tour that gives you a taste of Chapada's iconic landscapes: Lapa Doce Cave, Pratinha Cave, Blue Cave, and Morro do Pai Inácio
This tour offers a little bit of everything that Chapada has to offer. On this itinerary, you'll visit the most famous caves of the Chapada and also its most iconic landmark. Discover Lapa Doce Cave, one of the largest caves in Brazil. It features enormous chambers reaching up to 10 meters in height, with impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and other fascinating geological formations that introduce you to an incredible underground world. Upon arriving at one of the most beautiful farms in Chapada, you’ll encounter a crystal-clear river that flows into Pratinha Cave, which you can explore with an optional snorkeling experience (available for an extra fee). You'll swim among little fish and aquatic plants in a breathtaking cinematic setting. Adventurers can also enjoy a thrilling 20-meter zipline (extra fee applies). Still at Fazenda Pratinha, you'll find the Blue Cave, a stunning natural spectacle where visitors are enchanted by its many shades of deep blue, enhanced by the clarity of the water. Finally, the postcard-perfect view of Chapada Diamantina can be enjoyed from the top of Morro do Pai Inácio. With one of Brazil’s most breathtaking landscapes, this spot offers a 360° panoramic view of the entire region, showcasing the grandeur of the mountains and valleys formed millions of years ago.

Day 6: Lençóis
On this day, we recommend you go to the Smoke Waterfall (Cachoeira da Fumaça) on your own, it is a classic of the park, it is a 6 km walk and it can take 6 to 8 hours return.
You will do and see:
6 km round-trip hike to the top of Cachoeira da Fumaça, one of the highest waterfalls in Brazil
Spectacular views over the canyon (note: the water sometimes evaporates before hitting the ground!)
Stop for a picnic lunch and enjoy the natural surroundings (take food and water with you)

Day 7: Salvador
Check out. Depending on your bus/transfer schedule, you can: Hike to Ribeirão do Meio (if you didn't do it on Day 1). Shop for local crafts. Relax at a café or near the river. Then, find your own way to the bus station to take the bus back to Salvador. Arrival and go on your own to your accommodation. Check in and stroll around Pelourinho one last time.
Day 8: End of itinerary
Check out. Transfer to Salvador de Bahia airport to fly to your next destination.
