Welcome to Morocco! We'll be there at the airport with your name on a sign to welcome you to this beautiful country. Sit back and look out at the city as we bring you to your cosy accommodation in Marrakech. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please.

We'll start our journey to Essaouira in the morning, stopping by the argan cooperative and again for coffee along the way. We'll reach Essaouira before lunchtime and you'll be free to spend the rest of the day as you please. Why not hit a nearby beach?

Transfer to Essaouira (B)
Rise and shine! Today, we'll transfer you to Essaouira by minivan. Along the way, we'll stop at an argan cooperative then pause again later down the road for coffee so you'll be able to stretch your legs. We'll reach Essaouira before lunchtime and you'll have the rest of the day free for your leisure. There's no shortage of things to explore at this beautiful little seaside town. Soak in the tranquil atmosphere or slather on some sunscreen and check out the beautiful nearby beaches.

Spend an exciting day exploring the colourful and fascinating Souks - the traditional marketplaces of Essaouira.

Exploring Essaouira's Souks (B)
Today is the perfect day to explore the city's famous 'souks', or marketplaces, and pick up some colourful artisan crafts. The Souks are lined by ancient ramparts which open into incredible views of the wild Atlantic coastline. It's the perfect place to practice your bargaining skills. As well as the produce stalls selling fresh meat and fish or piles of aromatic spices, there are also souks for handmade jewellery or tailor made clothing to bring home. For the mix of Moroccan and European styles, the medina in Essaouira is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you wander through alleyways there are many twists and turns, but, thanks to the French grid-style design, you shouldn't get too lost! For lunch, there are plenty of restaurant choices to pick from (with lots of fresh fish available).

After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech city center or to the airport, depending on where you're headed next.

It's time to return to the hustle and bustle of the big city! After a final breakfast, bid farewell to Essaouira and we'll transfer you back to Marrakech city center, or to the airport depending on where you're headed next.
