The Standard Room features one of the following bed configurations: one full-size bed; one twin bed and one full-size bed; or two fullsize beds. Ara Ambigua Lodge is a beautiful property immersed in three protected hectares of secondary forest. Jut an hour and a half away from San Jose, it is the perfect spot for nature lovers; our guests can observe the flora and fauna, characteristic of the tropical rainforest.

The lodge is surrounded by an ecological paradise with tropical gardens, where local species are exhibited. There are 40 charming standard rooms and 2 honeymoon rooms with air conditioning, private bathroom, TV and a pleasant terrace to enjoy the garden and the mountain views. Ara Ambigua offers exquisite local and international dishes, including delicious pizza in the rustic restaurant. Besides, there is a large and comfortable pool for adults and children.

The rooms are surrounded by beautiful gardens, all have a balcony where you can enjoy the nature that surrounds them. They also have a private bathroom, hot water, TV, A/C, Coffee maker, hair dryer, and bath amenities among others. There is a security box at the reception and Wi-Fi in the common areas.

La Isla Inn
La Isla Inn is located in a privileged location, just 100 meters from the beautiful Cocles beach, surrounded by lush vegetation and wildlife, thus providing an atmosphere of exclusivity, privacy and relaxation for all guests.

Inspired by this environment, the hotel has 14 spacious rooms, with various amenities such as air conditioning, cable TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, safe and private bathroom with shower and toilet. Things to consider for a trip to Costa Rica
▪ Copies of passport.
▪ Sunscreen and insect repellent.
▪ Shirts: cotton or light synthetic, long- and short-sleeved.
▪ Dry fit clothing: cotton or light synthetic pants and shorts. Bring at least 2 sets of clothes that dry quickly (jeans not recommended and too slow to dry).
▪ Footwear: waterproof, light-weight hiking boots, river sandals (Teva-type sandals), tennis shoes/running shoes. If you do not bring hiking boots, make sure you bring TWO pairs of tennis shoes.
▪ If you are going to observe the turtle nesting at any of the nesting areas in the country, bring dark pants and shirt, and closed-toe shoes.
