Each pass is valid for 12 months from date of purchase, consecutive travel days starts from the first day of travel. To give you an idea of route distance and travel time, here are a few examples:

MELBOURNE TO SYDNEY:
970kms or 12 hrs & 30 mins
SYDNEY TO BRISBANE:
1000kms or 15 hrs & 45 mins
BRISBANE TO CAIRNS:
1900kms or 1 day & 8 hrs
CAIRNS TO ALICE SPRINGS:
2500kms or 1 day, 8 hrs & 30 mins
DARWIN TO ALICE SPRINGS:
1500km or 22 hrs
DARWIN TO BROOME:
1870km or 24 hrs
ALICE SPRINGS TO ADELAIDE:
1530km or 21 hrs

Please note that Greyhound does not operate between Adeleide and Melbourne. Tickets for this sector must therefore be bought locally.

How is it managed?
After purchase, you will receive a booking confirmation from us with the details of your booking. With this, go to www.greyhound.com.au to register your My Greyhound account. With this account you can add, change and delete trips in real-time.

Is it consecutive days?
Yes, to make it super simple Whimit is consecutive travel days

What determines a day?
A day is considered from midnight (00:00 hours) to 11:59pm (23:59 hours)

What about overnight services, can an overnight service be travelled on the last day?
Travellers who start their trip on the very last day of their Whimit, will be able to complete their trip even if it ends on the day after the Whimit has expired
