Situated among palm trees, beaches and the Indian Ocean, our surf camp in Sri Lanka is perfect for experiencing the waves, culture and adventures which make this tropical island so special.

Sri Lanka is a tropical island offering some of the most learner-friendly waves on the planet. Located near India and the Maldives, you'll find beautiful nature, a unique vibe and excellent conditions for surfers of all levels, whether you want to learn to surf or take your surfing to the next level. Long beaches, many inspiring places to visit, exotic cuisine and fantastic surf; Sri Lanka is an exciting destination for a surf trip out of the ordinary.

The following is an example of what a regular week at the Surf camp Sri Lanka can look like.

Monday (Day 1)
Arrival day. Unpack, settle in and unwind. Welcome meeting. We get to know each other and have fun with a music quiz.

Tuesday (Day 2)
06:00-08:00 - Surf lesson Level 1-3
08:00-10:00 - Breakfast
14:00-15:00 - Sri Lankan tea party
17:30 - Surf theory presentation at the camp

Wednesday (Day 3)
06:00-08:00 - Surf lesson Level 1-3
08:00-10:00 - Breakfast
19:00 - Dinner out at local restaurant (paid separately)

Optional: Party at The Doctor's House

Thursday (Day 4)
06:00-08:00 - Surf lesson Level 1-3
08:00-09:00 - Breakfast
16:00-17:00 - Beach clean-up

Optional: Karaoke at Mauvies in Ahangama

Friday (Day 5)
08:00-09:00 - Breakfast
ALL DAY - Day trips to Udawalawe National Park or Singaraja Rainforest
20:00 - Movie night at the camp

Saturday (Day 6)
06:00-08:00 - Surf lesson Level 1-3
08:00-09:00 - Breakfast
19:00 - Dinner out at local restaurant (paid separately)

Sunday (Day 7)
06:00-08:00 - Surf lesson Level 1-3
08:00-09:00 - Breakfast
16:00-17:30 - Volleyball tournament
18:00 - Payment of add-on meals, activities and local services.

Monday (Day 8, Departure Day)
08:00-09:00 - Breakfast
10:00 - Check out

Optional Activities
Join for some beach volleyball at the camp, or go check out the safari in the magnificant Udawalawe National Park or Singaraja Rainforest. For other suggestions, please ask our staff and they'll happily assist you.

The camp is located in a lush garden with a large villa, a big pool, and an on-site beach volleyball court. We also have a surf skate area and a yoga floor, which is perfect to work on your technique and to stretch out after a big day of surf. The villa has a great vibe and a nice lounge and hangout area by the pool; the camp is perfect for relaxing after an eventful day.

You can choose from the following:

Dorm
We have “Dorm” rooms with ensuite bathrooms. The dorms can accommodate 4-6 people. This is the perfect option for those who are travelling alone, with a group of friends or with family.

Double Room
Our spacious double rooms have air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. Sleep like royalty and wake up to freshly brewed coffee and an amazing breakfast buffet.

With walking distance from the camp to both the beach and nearby restaurants, everything is set for a perfect holiday.

Arrival transfer is not included. The transport to and from the activities will be by van. To and from the surf, we travel by tuk-tuk.

Food:
The breakfast**, which is included in all packages, consists of a delicious menu of local flavours and guest favourites such as cereal, eggs and freshly baked bread served with jams, yoghurt and fresh fruit. A tasty range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes are available for lunch and dinner**, all prepared fresh on-site by our very own chefs.
