Day 1 pick up at Yangon airport and transfer to your accommodation. On Day 2, take a circular train ride to the famed Shwedagon golden Pagoda and then take an overnight bus to Bagan. Discover the city of Bagan with a day tour on Day 3 and a free day on Day 4. On Day 5 cross the Irrawaddy river observing small villages along the peaceful waters to reach Mandalay. Enjoy a full day tour on Day 6. Take an overnight bus to Inle Lake on Day 7 and then enjoy a tour of the region on Day 8. Take an overnight bus to Yangon on Day 9. Your trip ends on Day 10 with an airport drop-off.
Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Yangon Airport Pick-Up
As you arrive into the capital city of Myanmar, you will be met by one of our representatives to be transferred to your accommodation for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own exploring Yangon independently, becoming acquainted with the locals, trying the delicious traditional food, and getting lost in the streets of this beautiful city. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon Circle Train and Pagoda Tour & Overnight Bus to Bagan (B)
Today you will get an insight into the local life of the Burmese by boarding the local ‘circle train’ which runs from Yangon’s main railway station in a circle around various neighborhoods in town and on the outskirts of town. The slow traveling train gives you unique opportunity to observe the lively and colourful life of the rural Burmese people. In the afternoon you will visit the famous Shwedagon Pagoda which houses the relics of The Buddha and three Buddhas that preceded him, encased in gold and in jewels. The beauty of the architecture and design will take your breath away, as will the sparkling, light catching jewels. This wondrous holy place, filled with history and legend, is not to be missed on your journey. After the tour you will board the overnight bus from Yangon to beautiful Bagan. Overnight on bus.

Day 3: Bagan Day Tour
Today you will have a day long guided tour. Please make your way to the designated meeting point as the tour is set to begin at 9:00am. You will dive into Myanmar’s culture and history on this tour. Begin with a private car transfer in the morning and continue onto a horse-cart in the evening. First, pass by Nyaung U market before continuing on to Shwezigon Pagoda built by King Anawrahta.
Next, visit the Gu Byauk Gyi temple that was built in 1113 and Bupaya Pagoda that lays on the banks of Ayeyarwady River. Visit Ananda Temple with the Four Standing Buddha images before passing by Tharabar Gate which is famous for its clay coloured temples that contrast with the green surrounding forest. Be sure to capture this mysterious beauty before you return to your accommodation. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 4: Bagan Free Day (B)
Have breakfast at your accommodation and then you are free to enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure and explore Bagan as you wish. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 5: Bagan to Mandalay Irrawaddy River Cruise (B)
Today you will go on a fluvial adventure as you cruise on the Irrawaddy river on your way to Mandalay. This will be an unguided cruise. During the trip you will be able to witness the small villages and lifestyle of the locals as you float along the peaceful waters. A driver will greet you when you arrive to Mandalay and take you to your new accommodation for check-in. Enjoy the night to explore the city at your own pace. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 6: Mandalay & Amapura Day Tour (B)
After breakfast our guide will collect you for a tour around the city. First stop will be Amarapura, the old seat of kings, where you are sure to capture lots of photos. Continue on to Maha Gandayon Monastery where thousands of monks reside and then visit the longest teak bridge in the world, Ubein Bridge, a lengthy 1.2km footbridge! Later in the evening you will visit one of the country’s most celebrated Buddha images- Mahamuni Pagoda and the Mandalay Palace of the last Burmese monarchy. You will even see the “biggest book in the world” in Kuthodaw Pagoda, where there are Buddhist scriptures from over 200 years on 729 marble tables. End your day by taking in the panoramic view of the city as the sun sets on Mandalay mountain. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 7: Overnight Bus to Inle Lake (B)
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Later, please make your way to the bus terminal to catch a local bus to the fascinating Inle Lake. Overnight on bus.

Day 8: Inle Lake Tour
Your bus will arrive to Nyaung Shwe early morning and then you will proceed onto Inle Lake. Inle Lake is the second largest lake in Myanmar, famous for its floating gardens and dwellers (Intha) who use a one-leg rowing style! Explore Inle by boat and visit fishing canoes to witness special fishing methods, the making of the unique float gardens and the Jumping Cat (Nga Pe Chaung) Monastery. You will also visit local silver, Cheroot, boat and silk factories. Final stop will be the famous Pag Daw Oo Pagoda where the image of five small Buddhas covered in thick gold leaf resides. Overnight near the Inle Lake region.
*Note: Return transfer to your accommodation after tour is included for passengers staying in 4* hotels. Passengers in 3* hotels will be transferred to Nyaung Shwe and will then have to make their own way back to their accommodation (5 to 15 minutes walk).
Day 9: Overnight Bus to Yangon (B)
Have breakfast and begin the day by exploring the region at your leisure. In the evening, you will take an overnight bus to Yangon. Overnight on bus.

Day 10: Yangon Airport Drop-Off
