In the morning, departure by coach towards Ċirkewwa, situated at the extreme west of the island. This will be followed by a 25-minute ferry crossing disembarking in Mġarr, the main port of Gozo. During the ferry crossing, you will also view another island of the Maltese archipelago, Comino (1800 metres in length) on which only around ten people live. After arriving in Gozo, we will head to Dwejra Bay, an impressive natural site that includes the Fungus Rock, a huge cylindrical rock isolated at the entrance of the bay and an Inland Sea that links to the open sea through a natural opening. We will then move onto Rabat to visit its citadel and view a short film, the «Gozo 360°», retracing the history and the traditions of the sister island. We then proceed towards Xlendi, one of Gozo’s typical and picturesque fishing villages with a final stop at the Megalithic Temples of Ġgantija; an impressive pre-historic monument.
