The Blue Grotto & Limestone Heritage

The first stop will be Wied iż-Żurrieq where, weather permitting, you will be able to admire by boat the wonderful light show at the bottom of the water in the Blue Grotto (the price of the outing at sea is not included in the price of the excursion, but reasonable). Then, we will go to Siġġiewi to visit the «Limestone Heritage» - a fascinating voyage through the history and the crafts industry where the extraction and the work of the limestone in the Maltese islands will be explained. This excursion will end in the small fishing village of Marsaxlokk. It is in this village that you can photograph the «luzzu», the typical fishing boats painted in lively colours with the eye of Osiris depicted on their bow.
