You will be picked up from your hotel in Khao Lak, drive an upcountry road and take a longtail boat from the mangrove pier to enjoy a sightseeing trip on beautiful Phang Nga Bay. 

We start our journey on the water the traditional way – by one of the beautiful decorated Thai longtail boats. We will drive along the green mangrove jungle, which is home to lizards, snakes, monkeys and different bird species. Passing by a fascinating karst landscape, we will reach the world-famous James Bond Island, from which you will have the perfect view on the most popular limestone cliff in the area. Ko Tapu, or James Bond Rock, is a common tourist attraction since the release of the movie "The Man with the Golden Gun" with Roger Moore as British secret agent 007.

After a quick stop we will move to a canoe station. There you can lay back and enjoy nature, while an experienced paddle guide will take care of you. The guide will take you close to hundreds of old stone formations, caves and mangroves.

We will continue our tour by visiting a fishing village built on pillars in the water. The sea nomads living here will warmly welcome you to a tasty Thai lunch. Full and satisfied, you can take a short walk to discover the village and the culture of the inhabitants. You might also find some nice souvenirs for yourself, family or friends.

Later, we return to the mainland and take a minivan to Phang Nga Park to finish a beautiful day of culture with a temple its nearby caves. You can sometimes see wild monkeys there but be careful, they love to try and steal your food (please, never feed the wildlife.) You will then be returned to your hotel at the end of the day.
