At 7:30, we depart Hanoi for Ngoc Luong Natural Reserve to get to our community. This scenic drive takes around 4 hours. Along the way, we will pass through fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies. We will reach Mu Waterfall by lunchtime. An amazing local lunch will be served by our hosts in our local homestay.

After lunch, you will have time to chill in the afternoon until the local family is ready to start their farming work which you can help out with and learn about. Depending on the season, you will have the chance to join them in collecting onion and garlic, planting peanuts, or harvesting rice. Have fun learning about the truly authentic Vietnamese lifestyle with the friendliest people from the mountains. These people really are awesome!

After your hard work on the farm, time for the dam! Throw yourself into the crystal clear water at the natural dam or the stunning waterfall near our homestay!

Dinner and drinks will be with the local family.

Starting from our village, you will head towards Pu Luong Mountain and the forests, where you will be doing a challenging trek chasing a wild ??jungle and waterfall. Trek through low valleys crossing some local villages and have a picnic lunch along the way. Throughout the entire day you will see beautiful views of the valley with typical features of Vietnam lowland rain-forests.

Late afternoon come back to the homestay for dinner, drinks and chill.

Have an early breakfast and get a walk down to the center of the village, where you will see patients at the local clinic – here you can help out the community a bit. You can help the local nurses to clean the clinic. Time to be an Impact Traveller!

After lunch, get picked up back and head back to the homestay where you can grab your luggage and then drive back to Hanoi!
