On Day 1 you will make your own way to Tiger Machan Resort, or similar accommodation, for check-in and then join in your afternoon safari. On Days 2 & 3 you have two safaris lined up; one in the early morning and one in the afternoon. Rise in time for a final morning safari on Day 4 and then check-out of your accommodation as your trip comes to an end.
Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Ranthambore National Park Safari (L/D)
Please make your own way from Sawai Madhopur to Ranthambore National Park where your up-close encounter with pristine Indian nature and wildlife will begin. Arrive no later than 13:00 hrs, get settled in your tent and then prepare for an exciting excursion into the park!
Embark on an afternoon safari with an experienced guide from 14:00 – 17:00 hrs into the heart of the Ranthambore National Park for your first encounter with wild animals and if you’re lucky, you will spot tigers on your first day! Return back to the camp for dinner and a good night’s rest. Overnight in Tiger Machan Resort or similar.

Day 2: Ranthambore National Park Safaris (B/L/D)
Have breakfast early and and enjoy 2 safari trips into the park today. Your morning safari will last from 7:00 – 10:00 am, a great time to see the animals active in the park before the heat of the day sets in. Return to the lodge for lunch and time to rest up. In the afternoon, you will go back out on a safari from 14:00 – 17:00 hrs to try to and spot all of the animals you haven’t already seen. Return to your accommodation in time for an Indian dinner. Overnight in Tiger Machan Resort or similar.
Day 3: Ranthambore National Park Safaris (B/L/D)
You will once again enjoy two safaris today. You will go on an early morning safari from 7:00 – 10:00 am then have a lunch break at your accommodation and then continue exploring with an afternoon safari. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight in Tiger Machan Resort or similar.
Day 4: Ranthambore National Park Safari & Accommmodation Check-Out (B)
Have breakfast and then go on your very last Safari. When you return from your safari, you can pack your things and make your own way back to Sawai Madhopur taking with you the memorable experiences and great photos of the time you have spent in nature. Ranthambore, originally established as a Game Sanctuary in 1955, was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1973. In 1980 Ranthambore became a national park and by 1991 it expanded to include neighboring Sawai Man Singh and Keladevi Sanctuaries. Ranthambore sanctuary is known as one of the best places in India to see tigers as they can easily be spotted during the day. The best season to visit is the dry season from November to May.
The park, situated on the edge of a plateau, covers 392 square kilometers encompassing several lakes is bound to the south by the Chambal River and to the north by the Banas River. Besides the large tiger population, there are significant populations of leopard, wild boar, hyena, chital, nilgai, sambar deer and sloth bears. It is also home to a wide variety of reptiles, birds, plants and trees including one of India’s largest Banyan trees.
